丹麥木工大師Poul Jensen(1922 – 2006)因為本人作品在市場上不多所以國際名氣不大,可是他有兩個設計很受北歐傢俱收藏家的喜愛. 透過名牌經銷商Selig公司的行銷, Jensen的吉他匹克茶几跟Z-形休閒椅(也有沙發版本)這兩個有生產的作品都有得到市場的經典設計的高價位任鎮.
Danish furniture designer and manufacturer Poul Jensen is best known in the US for his partnership with the international import furniture company Selig and the two signature designs attributed to him: the triangular “Guitar-Pick” side table and the classic “Z-Chair” plus ottoman (along with a sofa version of the “Z”).

在他的丹麥老家Haslev鄉村Poul Jensen接下他爺爺Christian的傢俱公司,主要都是接客製化的獨立作品訂單,所以如果想再二手市場上買到Christian Jensen Møbelsnedkeri或是Chr. Jensen Møbelfabrik商標的作品, 一般都只有在丹麥豪華拍賣商的線上網頁才有機會看到.

Back in his home country of Denmark, Poul Jensen was highly-regarded for designing and manufacturing custom order furniture under the company originally founded by his grandfather: Christian Jensen Møbelsnedkeri A/S, Haslev (aka Chr. Jensen Møbelfabrik). Very few of these items appeared to have made it onto the international auction market, with the searchable items online listed on local Danish websites only.

因為Poul Jensen跟Selig長期合作的關係也讓他接觸到其他的丹麥傢俱大師: Kai Kristiansen 跟Ib Kofod-Larsen也都是Selig的重要客戶.因為他們的作品有類是的設計感, Jensen先生有時候也會跟Johannes Andersen連在一起討論. 兩人也都有跟C.F Christensen / CFC Silkeborg廠商合作過…Jensen的代表設計會在丹麥貼上CFC的商標,也同時在美國跟英國用Selig的品牌來出售趙成買家的誤會.

Jensen’s relationship with Selig also linked him to fellow Danish design contemporaries Kai Kristiansen and Ib Kofod-Larsen (both also designed furniture for Selig). Based on obvious design similarities and pieces sharing a common manufacturer (C.F. Christensen / CFC Silkeborg), Jensen is also often compared to another Danish designer, Johannes Andersen. Some of Jensen’s designs sold in Denmark are stamped with the CFC logo while the exact same item sold in the US will bear the Selig emblem.
